UnderSky Wild About Play Days 2024

Full of imaginative games inspired by Scottish wildlife, Ayrshire's children will be swimming like salmon, balancing like squirrels and dancing like frogs all summer long! Thanks to funding from the SafeDeposits Scotland Community Fund, these vibrant family events will take place at six different locations across South Ayrshire.

UnderSky's outdoor play days are perfect for children aged 4-9 years and their families. Packed full of active games and challenges, UnderSky events encourage communities to enjoy their local green spaces and learn about Scotland's valuable wildlife. Adults are encouraged to join in the fun too as everyone learns while they play.

Kathryn and Katie are the dynamic duo behind UnderSky, creating unique outdoor experiences inspired by nature and the environment. Following careers in the design industry (Kathryn) and as a Countryside Ranger for the National Trust for Scotland (Katie), in 2020 they combined their talents and launched UnderSky Ltd. This enthusiastic team deliver unique story-led community events and create engaging products for children to explore nature on their doorstep.
