Lintel Soup - Meet the projects

At Lintel Soup on Thursday 5th October, representatives of three local projects will take the floor at Glasgow Clyde College's Langside campus to make their case for why they should receive a share of £4,500 in funding, made available by the SafeDeposits Scotland Community Fund.

The three participating projects have now been confirmed as:

South West Kinship Care

South West Kinship Care was set up as a direct result of need in the community. A kinship carer is a relative who has full-time care of a child due to parental addiction, mental health issues, bereavement or domestic violence.

Stables Studio

Stables Studio are a creative group for older adults in the G45 area. Anyone can pop in and try an art form such as stained glass making, textile dyeing, abstract painting, sculpture making and knitting, as well as it being a space for chatting, socialising and creating friendships.

STEM Club

Delivered every Sunday from Netherholm Community Hall, the STEM Club provides opportunities for children and young people to participate in science, technology, engineering, arts, maths and 3D printing activities.

Each project will be pitching to an assembled audience, which YOU could be a part of. If you are passionate about supporting community projects, book a free ticket for Lintel Soup HERE. Not only will you get the chance to hear more from these fantastic organisations and vote on how funds are shared between them, you will also receive a complimentary soup and sandwich during the event. Spaces are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
