Vacancy: Client Advisor (permanent, part time)

SafeDeposits Scotland is currently seeking a Client Advisor to join our Tenant Team on a part time, permanent basis. The role focuses on helping private tenants in dealing with the administration of their deposit. The role is based at our office in Glasgow city centre.

The Role

- The role will be 21 hours a week over three days (Monday, Friday and one other weekday, which can be agreed at interview).

- Working hours are 9am - 5pm with one hour for lunch.

- The salary is £16,500 (pro rata).

Key Accountabilities

- Provide excellent customer service to all service users and clients. This will sometimes involve dealing with upset or frustrated callers.

- Answer incoming tenant telephone calls.

- Respond to enquiries via the email inbox and Live Chat system.

- Update and maintain customer database and other relevant in-house systems.

- Handle data sensitively.

- Complete all admin/ad-hoc tasks as required.

- Process registration and payment of deposits.

- Occasional attendance at external events.


Experience and Knowledge Required

- Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential.

- Previous administration experience desired but not essential.

- Computer literacy including proficiency in using MS Office.


Skills Required

- Well-developed communication skills.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and use initiative.

- Problem solving abilities including good numeracy skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy whilst adhering to strict deadlines.

- Able to handle sensitive data and an ability to demonstrate professionalism, maturity and discretion.

- Able to work well within a team environment.

- Able to demonstrate diplomacy.
